Communications Hub

AEM6000 is a Data Collection Unit (DCU). With a number of applications it can be used to access internet and email, hands free voice communications and the ability to operate with numerous devices including PDA’s, mobile phones and sat-nav devices. It can also be combined with specialist onboard systems, which enable access to engine activity. Integration takes place via ‘IP Pass through’ technology.

CANbus interface

This exciting development can be connected to the vehicle’s Engine Control Unit and provides detailed vehicle information back to the fleet manager. This can include fuel usage, mileage, accurate Co2 exhaust emissions reports, servicing requirements and even driving style / behaviour.

Asset Tracking

Designed to be fitted to trailer, plant or any other valuable assets, its key function is to allow you periodic or live, minute by minute tracking reports, enabling you to ascertain the exact location of your investments. The unit is fully compatible with VMI Greenlight. It can even be fitted to assets that don’t have their own power supply!
